Planning for the 15 turbine Lemanaghan Wind Farm in north-west Offaly has been submitted.
A planning application has been submitted for an Offaly wind farm, a joint venture between BnM and SSE Renewables.
The proposed Lemanaghan Wind Farm aims to power 65,700 homes annually and reduce carbon emissions by over 56,000 tonnes each year.
The 15 turbine project is located on Lemanaghan Bog in north-west Offaly, near the communities of Ballycumber, Ferbane, and Pollagh.
The plans also proposes to enhance amenities in the area such as walking and cycling trails throughout the site.
Members of the public are encouraged to review the report and to share their views as part of the planning process.
During construction up to 120 jobs would be supported at peak delivery.
