The limited term let will be built on Portlaoise's Harpur's Lane.
Planning permission is being granted for a five storey apart-hotel in Laois.
The Harpur’s Lane development in Portlaoise will provide short to medium-term accommodation for healthcare staff, construction workers, and other professionals featuring 25 guest suites and 88 bedspaces.
The project includes one and two bedroom suites, rooftop amenities, bicycle parking, and landscaped outdoor areas.
Laois County Council approved the plans subject to 20 conditions, including a maximum stay of two months per guest.
The limited term let initiative aims to help ease pressure on the local rental market.
