Planning permission is being sought for a new Midlands Regional Family Hub in Westmeath.
Applicant Des Nally is seeking a change of use for a 7 bedroom B and B in the Bonavalley area of Athlone to serve as the hub's location
The hub would provide services to families such as general support, health advice and financial guidance.
The plans include adding two more bedrooms, a reception area, a children's play area and other changes such as entrance gates and a front boundary wall.
