Plans are being developed to construct two general industrial buildings in a Laois town.
Loadwise Logistics lodged a planning application with Laois County Council for the development of two industrial buildings on a 4.5-hectare agricultural site along the Lea Road in Portarlington.
The application outlines proposals for two buildings, internal access roads, service yards, parking facilities, bicycle shelters, footpaths, and all associated site infrastructure.
The proposed development also comprises of the installation of an on-site foul drainage pumping station and rising main, together with a stormwater management system including an attenuation tank, flow control chamber, petrol interceptor, and outfall connection.
A decision is due by Laois County Council by June 4th.
