Westmeath County Council are due to make a decision by May 4th.
Plans have been submitted for nearly 40 new apartments in the midlands.
BFJ Developments is seeking planning permission from Westmeath County Council for 38 new dwellings in Robinstown.
The units will be based in three blocks, and will be comprised of 26 two-bedroom apartments and 12 one-bedroom dwellings.
The development will also include the provision of a new site entrance off the R394 road.
A decision from the local authority is due by the 4th of May.
