Plans are in place for a new manufacturing plant in Westmeath.
Westmeath Enterprise & Innovation Designated Activity Company is looking to build a new 'Advanced Buildings Solution' structure which can house light industrial, manufacturing or office operations.
The overall project, which will be located in the Ardmore Business & Technology Park, Marlinstown in Mullingar, will cover an overall area of 1,300 hectares.
The development includes the three storey ABS building, a separate manufacturing/light industrial production space, solar panels, 41 car parking spaces, as well as a new pedestrian and cycle crossing at the Mullingar Business Park Estate Road.
A decision on the application is due from Westmeath County Council on the 8th of August.
