Zirbac DLK Limited are looking to construct 27 new apartments.
Plans have been submitted for the redevelopment of a former nightclub in Westmeath.
The plans are for the former Lake County Nightclub site on Castle St, Mullingar.
Zirbac DLK Limited is seeking permission for the removal of the remaining derelict structures on the site and the construction of a mixed-use development ranging in height from four to five storeys, comprising of 27 apartments.
The development will offer a mix of a studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units.
The application was deemed invalid by Westmeath County Council due to it not compliying with the requirements of the Planning and Development Regulations.
Submissions are open until September 10th.
