Pop-Up Vaccination Clinic Returning To Offaly This Weekend

The HSE says the aim of the clinic is to maximise covid vaccine uptake.

A pop-up Covid vaccination clinic is returning to Offaly this weekend.

The temporary clinic will operate at Tullamore Primary Care Centre this Sunday from 1pm to 4pm, and is offering the Pfizer vaccine only.

Anyone over the age of 12 requiring their first or second dose or, where eligible, a booster vaccine is invited to make an appointment online or walk in on the day.

The HSE says the aim of the clinic is to maximise covid vaccine uptake in those who have not yet availed of one.

You can book an appointment here.

Des O ‘Flynn, Chief Officer of Midlands Louth Meath CHO, said: "Vaccines are working and helping to prevent severe illness across Ireland. Therefore, it is important that people receive their booster/second COVID-19 vaccine as soon as they can. That way we can protect ourselves, our loved ones and our wider community. We would encourage eligible people to avail of the opportunity to take up a vaccination at the pop-up clinic in Tullamore."
