Proposed Wind Turbines Compared To 50-Storey Tower In Centre Of Tullamore

The 'NoToSeskinWindFarm' group is objecting to the plans.

Wind turbines proposed for a scenic area on the Laois Kilkenny border would have a wing span the length of Croke Park.

The 'NoToSeskinWindFarm' group is objecting to the plans claiming the scale of the project would be similar to building a 50 storey tower block in the centre of Tullamore. 

Seskin Renewable Energy Limited is planning to erect eight wind turbines with a ground to blade tip height of 175m and a blade length of 75m.

Residents of Durrow and Ballinaslee are holding a public meeting this evening at 8pm in The Castle Arms Hotel, Durrow.
