Protesters Planning 24/7 Vigil At Offaly Direct Provision Centre

Around thirty people staged a protest over the weekend.

A group opposed to a direct provision centre opening in Offaly are planning to maintain a 24/7 vigil at the site. 

Around thirty people staged a protest at the Marian Hostel in Tullamore on Saturday morning. 

The first families are due to arrive at the centre this month -- with up to 168 people expected over the next ninety days.
