A public meeting discussing the cost of living crisis is set to take place in Laois this evening.
Sinn Féin Senator Maria McCormack and Pearse Doherty will host the event at 8pm in the Killeshin Hotel in Portlaoise.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide a space for people to come together, openly discuss the challenges they’re experiencing in everyday life.
Sinn Féin has been advocating for an emergency budget in recent weeks.
