This year's Queen of the Land Festival has been cancelled.
The committee behind the festival say they explored "every possible avenue" for hosting the event but were unsuccessful.
The event recognises rural women not only in agriculture but across a diverse range of professions.
Festival organisers thanked 2023 Queen, Limerick's Sarah Baker for work as an ambassador and say they will be back in 2025.
