Questions Raised Over The Correcting Of State Exams Under Time Pressure

The exams will begin on July 29th.

There could be a rush to correct state exams, if schools re-open fully on their usual August start date.  

Wednesday July 29th was confirmed as the start date for state exams, with a timetable set to be published at the start of June.  

The Department of Education moved to online correction for many exams in recent years, with 2020 due to see this method used to mark English for the first time.
