A La Tène-style disc uncovered in Westmeath from the National Museum has made the collection.
A 6th-century La Tène-style disc found in Westmeath is featuring in An Post’s 2025 Europa stamp series.
.Part of a Europe-wide celebration, the stamps showcase rare Irish artifacts from the National Museum.
A special first day cover features both stamps and an image of the ancient disc found at Rathclittagh along the River Inny, near Ballinalack.
Designed by Ger Garland, the set is available now at post offices nationwide and online.
