Real Danger Tullamore Will Be Left In The Dark This Christmas

An emergency meeting is being held this evening to raise funds for the annual lights.

There's a real danger Tullamore will be kept in the dark this Christmas.

The town's Christmas Light Committee is pleading with businesses to donate funds to ensure the usual festivities can go ahead this year.

The impact of covid on the business community has left the committee with an outstanding bill of €15,000, with the running costs for this year expected to exceed €40,000.

Committee member Noel McCann is urging people to attend an emergency meeting in the Bridge House Hotel at 7 o'clock this evening:
