It coincides with a report on the findings of an IFA /Irish Farmers Journal investigation on production standards for Brazilian beef.
IFA President Francie Gorman says the recall and the report's findings have to be 'a serious wake up call' for what he describes as 'the cheerleaders' pushing for the Mercosur trade deal:
