It follows concerns over a temporary closure of the HSE's Tullamore office leaving people unable to book or register wedding ceremonies in the county.
Fine Gael TD for Offaly John Clendennen claims someone has been hired temporarily to allow services to resume, and that a full recruitment process will follow.
