The cash was recovered in four properties across the region and Sligo.
Revenue officers have seized over €235,000 following searches under warrant in four properties in the Midlands and Sligo.
Detention orders were granted to officers in respect of the cash seized by judges at Mullingar District Court and Sligo District Court.
3,640 illicit cigarettes were also seized with an estimated retail value of over €3,284 representing a potential loss to the Exchequer of approximately €2,600.
Three men have been questioned in relation to the seizures.
