The detections were made as a result of risk profiling and intelligence led operations.
Over 8 kilograms of herbal cannabis estimated at a value of over 162,000 euro has been seized in the Midlands and Dublin.
The cannabis was detected after revenue officers examined parcels in both regions over the course of the last week.
Six weapons including a machete and pepper spray, along with cigarette worth around 39 thousand euro and 100 litres of alcohol valued at over 3,000 euro was discovered in the Midlands and Rosslare.
Overall, 300,000 euro worth of contraband have been seized across the country
