Review Into Ireland's Autism Services Launched By HSE

The independent analysis will examine peoples' experience with the current system.

A review into Ireland's autism services has been commissioned by the HSE.

It comes as the delivery of assessment services has been criticised in recent months, with 130 children in the midlands waiting up to four years.

A further 1,000 are facing a three year wait.

It's hoped the independent analysis will look at the wait times, what interventions are provided, and peoples' experience with the current system.
