Road Haulage Association Calls For Fuel Support Extension

Petrol and diesel prices increased in July.

The President of the Irish Road Haulage Association is calling for the Fuel Supports Scheme to be extended.

Petrol and diesel prices increased by an average of 19 cents per litre in July, increasing the price to €1.92.

For motorists filling a 50-litre tank each month, that means an extra €9.50 for diesel and €4.50 for petrol.
