Road Safety, Anti-Social Behaviour And Drug Issues Discussed At Laois Safety Meeting

Laois Local Community Safety Partnership held its first meeting last week.

Anti-social behaviour, road safety, drug-related issues and mental health are among the key topics being discussed at a safety partnership meeting in Laois.

The Laois Local Community Safety Partnership hosted its first public meeting on Tuesday, which aims to brings together key local organisations, services and community representatives to collectively address the priorities of Laois residents.

Matters raised at the meeting included public concerns regarding road and pedestrian safety on Colliers Lane in Portlaoise, as well as concerns relating to drug abuse.
