Roscommon Family One Step Closer To Reuniting After Robert Pether Released From Iraqi Jail

Mr Pether was arrested on fraud charges four years ago.

Robert Pether remains in Iraq after being released on bail.

The Tanaiste is welcoming this as a first step to his being allowed to return to his family in Roscommon.

The Australian national lived with his wife and three children the county before travelling to Iraq where he was arrested and imprisoned on fraud charges four years ago.
