Westmeath Rose Caoilfhinn Ní Choiligh will be the face of Mullingar Pride's parade which is set to take place this Saturday.
The festivities kick off on Thursday with a queer comedy night, followed by a trans punk concert on Friday, with the parade starting in Mullingar Town Park on Saturday afternoon.
The newly crowned Rose received a standing ovation for her openess in presenting her wigs and talking about her journey with alopecia during this year's Rose of Tralee Festival in Kerry last month.
