Scenic Viewing Points Could Be Added To Midlands Canal

The works could be financed through both the Just Transistion fund and with support from Failte Ireland.

The Grand Canal Greenway could see the addition of a scenic viewing point in the midlands.

The proposal would see the Greenway extended along the Bord Na Mona Rail line from the Mount Lucas Windfarm to Croghan Hill.
