An Offaly support group wants the board of Children's Health Ireland disbanded.
Rhode's Gary Farrell, Founder of Scoliosis Ireland made the request in a meeting with the Minister For Health Jennifer Carroll MacNeill this week.
He says the Minister admitted the failures of the government for children with Scoliosis in terms of surgeries, wait times and funding.
This follows a damning report from HIQA stating that children weren't protected from harm when unapproved spinal springs were implanted into 3 children.
