The charge relates to an incident in Mullingar on Monday.
A teenager has been charged in connection with the discharge of a firearm at a residential location in Westmeath last Monday.
He appeared before Mullingar District Court earlier today.
It comes after a number of shots were discharged in the Ardleigh Park area of Mullingar on Monday.
A second teenager appeared before Longford District Court on Tuesday. He remains in Garda custody.
