It's after Mr Burke has continued to breach a court order to stay away from Wilson's Hospital School.
A Westmeath school has hired a security guard to prevent Enoch Burke from getting on its grounds.
Wilson's Hospital School is making the move after Mr Burke continued to turn up at the school at the start of the academic year in breach of a court order to stay away.
The Irish Times is reporting the school is expected to make an application to make Mr Burke liable for the costs.
The teacher was suspended in 2022 and fired in January 2023 following a series of incidents in which he publicly voiced opposition, on religious grounds, to a request to staff from the then principal that a transgender child be called by a new name and they/them pronouns.
Mr Burke maintains he has been unlawfully dismissed.
