September Food Challenge Taking Place To Support Local Farmers

It was created six years ago by a Stradbally woman.

A midlands farmer is encouraging people to eat Irish foods for a month.

The 30 Day Food Challenge was created six years ago by Stradbally woman Lisa Fingleton, and takes place throughout September.

Participants can only eat food grown on the island of Ireland and she hopes the challenge will encourage people to support local farmers.

Ms. Fingleton says money spent on luxuries could be better spent on quality food:
