A Senior Medical Scientist at Mullingar Regional Hospital estimates just 2,000 staff can operate the facilities in Ireland.

Senior Medical Scientist at Mullingar Regional Hospital Mark McKeon is commending the HSE for the drive to increase the number of testing centres, but estimates just 2,000 qualified staff are available.
Between 600 and 700 tests have been conducted at the Mullingar facility in the last month.
