A Laois farmer made a unique discovery when herding her ewes.
Clonaslee's Dolores Murray woke up to a ewe having birthed 6 lambs on her yard.
The ewe gave birth to the sextuplets without any assistance in the early hours of the morning.
She has taken over the farm following the sudden passing of her husband in February.
Ms Murray says she is learning very fast how to cope on the farm:
