There's been a significant decrease in the availability of second hand homes in the midlands.
A new report from MyHome.ie show a decline of nearly half in Laois, followed by 45% in Westmeath and 44% in Offaly, over a ten-year period.
Nationally, there were around 12,000 second hand properties on the market in July, a 50% drop on a decade ago.
