Sinn Fein says the tallies in Offaly are positive and it shows there is a an appetite for change.
According to the tallies Aoife Masterson has 17% of the vote in the county.
She's fighting for a seat with Fine Gael's John Clendennen and Tony McCormack of Fianna Fail, as it looks set that Carol Nolan will be returned to the Dail with over 8,100 first preferences.
Counting is underway and a first count but it could be a long wait for the candidates.
