A Sinn Fein party member's been expelled after her partner was arrested as part of a Garda investigation into cross-border terrorism.
The man in his 30s, who was arrested yesterday in County Laois, remains in Garda custody.
In a statement, Sinn Fein says the party member was expelled on Saturday because she failed to notify the party her home was raided last Friday, or inform it about the associated seriousness of the situation.
Two other men have appeared before the courts as part of this Garda investigation.
