1090 babies dies in the Mother and Baby Home.
A demonstration is taking place today to highlight the babies who died in a Mother and Baby Home in the midlands.
1090 babies died in Sean Ross Abbey in Roscrea while it was in operation, with a Sleep-Out protest organised by the survivors of the Mother and Baby Home.
The survivors invited Minister Norma Foley to the protest, in order to highlight the difficult realities of life for mothers and children when they lived there.
The protest at Angels Plot, Sean Ross Abbey gets underway at 12:00pm today.
