A new project, linking the Slieve Bloom bike trails to a local village, is being launched in Offaly.
The development in Kinnitty is being joint-funded by the National Transport Authority and Recreational Infrastructure Fund to the tune of 700,000 euro.
The aim is to provide safety to people travelling along the route, as well as promoting accessibility and tourism in the area.
