Five teenagers have died after a car crash on the M9 near Athy.
Post mortems will be carried out today on the bodies of 5 teenage boys, killed in a head-on collision in Kildare yesterday.
It's understood they were aged between 14 and 16 years old.
Three women and a young boy were also seriously injured in the crash on the M9.
It prompted Garda Commissioner Justin Kelly to condemn 'reckless' incidents where cars are being driven in the wrong direction for social media 'likes'.
The five teenagers died when their car collided head-on with another vehicle near Moone.

Commissioner Justin Kelly says Gardaí have to try to stop wrong-way drivers while also protecting every other road user.
He says deliberately driving against motorway traffic for social media attention is reckless and can have devastating consequences - and such incidents put Gardaí in an extremely challenging position.
The M9 collision has been referred to Fiosrú, the Police Ombudsman, and the Commissioner says Gardaí are cooperating fully with its investigation.
