South Westmeath Hospice Committee Wants Clarity From HSE

The committee say they're sick of token statements from the health body.

The South Westmeath Hospice committee is stepping up its campaign to gain clarity on the future of facilities within the county.

It follows a meeting with Health Minister Simon Harris last month at which he gave assurances that a new building at Clonbrusk would match the current available bed capacity.

The committee say they're tired of token statements from the HSE and want further political action on the matter immediately.

They are organising a public rally on October 19th at Burgess Park to highlight the continued problems.
