Taoiseach Condemns Detention Of Irish Activists Aboard Gaza-Bound Flotilla

Moate’s Louise McCormack is among Irish citizens currently being held by Israeli forces.

The Taoiseach says it is "absolutely wrong and unacceptable" for Israel to have detained six Irish activists.

Moate's Louise McCormack is among those detained, along with President Catherine Connolly's sister, Dr Margaret Connolly.

Micheál Martin is calling for the release of the Irish citizens, who were captured off the coast of Cyprus yesterday while onboard a flotilla heading for Gaza.
