Only two IDA visits to Laois took place in 2024.
The Taoiseach says the lack of IDA jobs in Laois is "extraordinary".
It comes after Deputy Sean Fleming raised the issue with him, citing what he describes as preferential treatment going to other Midlands counties.
Of the 8,000 IDA jobs in the region, just 145 are in Laois.
The Fianna Fail rep believes the IDA's regional office being based in Athlone is leading to "absolute complete and total bias".
His party leader, Micheal Martin says while the IDA is investing in Laois, the current situation makes little sense:
