Laois Independent Brian Stanley wants a pre-fab building installed in St Francis School
The Taoiseach is promising to look into capacity issues in a Laois special school.
There are 45 children trying to get into St Francis special school in Portlaoise this September but there are only 9 due to leave.
Independent TD Brian Stanley wants a modular unit for the school installed as soon as possible
There is plans for four extra classrooms later on in the year but he believes a pre-fab unit is required for September to cater for new students.
Deputy Stanley says capacity issues at the school have reached an unacceptable level:
