The Taoiseach says a Westmeath town is fully capable of becoming Ireland's first green city.
Plans are in place in an attempt to make Athlone Ireland’s leading green city by 2040.
The Ballymore Group, led by Sean Mulryan, aims to double Athlone’s population, supply 90% of its energy from renewable sources, and significantly expand the TUS campus by 2040.
