Concern is being voiced for the mental welfare of children in Ireland
The current shortage of teachers is resulting in children with extra learning needs losing out according to The Irish Primary Principals’ Network.
The situation is being described as critical in Dublin where 2 in 3 schools are under-staffed.
IPPN are also highlighting the issue of children's mental health with more than 10,000 currently on a HSE waiting list for treatment.
