Major Social Housing Body To Deliver 41 New Homes In The Midlands This Year

A major social housing body is expecting to deliver 41 new homes in the midlands by the end of 2020. 

Clúid currently manages or owns 417 houses across the region with plans for a further 26 to go on site in Offaly in January.

The government announced a €773 million social housing package in Budget 2021. 

Clúid's Policy Advisor, Offaly's Fiona Dunkin says a €110 million dedicated fund for cost rental housing in particular is a policy changer:
