The chair of an action group against a proposed Midlands wind farm says it will be 'an uphill' battle to stop the project.
BNM and SSE Renewables are in the planning stages of the Drumlosh Wind Farm on Cornafulla Bog which will lie half a mile from Clonmacnoise and border the Shannon Callows.
The Friends of Cornafulla, Clonmacnoise and the Shannon Callows Group is highlighting its concerns to local and national politicians and MEP's.
It follows a public meeting held in Athlone in January attended by over 200 residents.
