Half a million people are due to visit Mullingar for the music event.
This year's Fleadh Ceoil na h-Eireann gets underway in Mullingar today.
The opening ceremony will be performed by An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar at 12.30pm
It's estimated close on 500,000 people will visit the Westmeath town by the end of festivities on Monday August 14th.
