The arrests come after investigations into 29 separate incidents.
Two men, and one teenage male have been arrested today in relation to burglaries in the midlands.
North Western Region gardaí with the assistance of officers from Athlone arrested a 26 year old, and a 21 year old man, as well as a juvenile, after searching four properties in the greater Dublin area.
The move comes following investigations into 29 burglaries in counties Westmeath, Longford, Roscommon, Mayo and Sligo.
During the course of the searches gardaí found substantial amounts of cash, designer handbags and shoes, a Rolex watch, and multiple mobile phones and car keys.
The three males have been taken to Garda stations in the Mayo/Roscommon/Longford Division, where they are being detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act.
