Three men have been arrested in Laois as part of investigations into organised crime, drugs and guns trafficking in the Midlands.
Searches took place in Portarlington yesterday carried out by Gardaí from the Laois and Offaly Division, armed support unit, dog unit as well as Revenue.
The men are now being held at Portlaoise, Tullamore and Birr Garda Stations.
Investigations ongoing.
