They'll be operated by Offaly Domestic Violence Support Service.
It's hoped three new safe houses for victims of domestic violence will be open in the midlands by the end of August.
The refuge centres will be handled by Offaly Domestic Violence Support Service, and are currently being kitted out and furnished.
They'll represent the organisation's first response to calls for emergency accommodation since it began as Offaly Women in Crisis back in 1997.
