A status yellow thunderstorm warning has been issued for Offaly, Laois, westmeath, and 14 more counties.
Met Eireann is warning of spot flooding, poor visability and dangerous driving conditions as a result of heavy showers.
It's in place from 8am until 9 o'clock tonight.
We can expect unsettled, mixed weather for at least another week.
